Miss Universe Pakistan 2023: First-Ever Finalists Unveiled

In an unprecedented moment for Pakistan, the finalists for the nation’s debut appearance in the renowned Miss Universe pageant have been disclosed.

From over 200 global applicants, five distinguished contestants have emerged, shining in a Maldives photoshoot adorned in designs by the renowned Filipino designer, Furne One of the Dubai-based Amato label.

The stage is set for Thursday, where one of these five women will make history by becoming the inaugural Miss Universe Pakistan, proceeding to grace the global stage in El Salvador later this year.

Josh Yugen, Miss Universe Pakistan’s National Director, expressed the significance of this moment, stating, “For the first time, a dynamic Pakistani woman will represent more than 210 million stories from around the globe.” Yugen’s Yugen Group, based in Dubai, also holds franchise rights for Miss Universe in both Bahrain and Egypt.

Erica Robin (24)

A fashion model and a proud representative of Pakistan’s Christian minority. Erica desires to showcase Pakistan’s rich diversity and fervently advocates for education and women’s empowerment.

Hira Inam (24)

With a mission to maximize her potential, Hira is committed to championing education, aiding the underprivileged, and combating poverty in Pakistan.

Jessica Wilson (28)

More than just a cybersecurity engineer, Jessica is a world traveler, orator, and artist. She envisions the Miss Universe Pakistan as an articulate leader and a beacon for women everywhere.

Malyka Alvi (19)

The youngest contender, Malyka juggles multiple roles as a student, entrepreneur, content creator, dancer, and fashionista. As a Pakistani-American, she aspires to spotlight the leadership prowess of Pakistani women.

Sabrina Wasim (26)

A property consultant, choreographer, and event host, Sabrina found her inspiration in the reigning Miss Universe 2022, Harnaaz Sandhu from India. She aims to redefine global perceptions of Pakistani women, emphasizing their strength, vibrancy, and influential voice.
