Linda De Sousa Abreu, a former prison officer at HMP Wandsworth, is under investigation after being filmed engaging in sexual activities with an inmate in his cell. This incident has garnered considerable attention due to Linda’s previous participation in Channel 4’s documentary “Open House: The Great Sex Experiment,” where she and her husband discussed topics such as threesomes and orgies.
Linda, 31, has reportedly left her position at the South London jail following the scandal and is now facing a police investigation. Her sister, Andreina, revealed that she had warned Linda about mixing her personal lifestyle with her professional duties, expressing regret over her sister’s choices and the potential consequences.
The explicit video, recorded by the inmate’s cellmate, shows Linda in her uniform engaging in sexual activities with the prisoner. The footage, which includes commentary from the inmate filming, has raised serious concerns about security and staff conduct within the prison system.
Vanessa Frake, former head of security at Wormwood Scrubs, condemned the footage as “shocking” and a disgrace to the prison service. Ian Acheson, a former prison governor, emphasized the severe security implications, noting that the incident reflects broader systemic issues within the prison.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that an investigation is underway, stating, “At this early stage, there have been no arrests. We are in close contact with the Ministry of Justice.” The Prison Service reiterated that staff corruption is not tolerated and that Linda has been reported to the police.
