A new mystery woman has been identified at the last known sighting of missing teenager Jay Slater, adding another layer to the ongoing investigation. This development was reported by investigator Mr. Williams-Thomas, who recounted witness Qassim’s interactions with Jay on the night he disappeared.
According to Qassim, Jay was offered a place to sleep, a towel, and a Camel cigarette. Additionally, Jay borrowed a phone charger from Qassim’s friend while the friend was asleep. Later, Qassim was awakened by the sound of the door buzzing and opened it to find a woman and a man asking him to move his car. During this time, Qassim observed Jay talking to the woman.
Qassim noted that after moving his car, he saw Jay with his trainers on. Jay informed him that the woman had mentioned buses to Los Cristianos ran every ten minutes. Although Qassim offered to drop Jay off later, Jay insisted he needed food. Qassim, believing there were no buses, told Jay to do as he liked before returning to sleep.
Mr. Williams-Thomas added that Qassim’s next memory was receiving a call from one of Jay’s friends, stating Jay was lying in a ditch and had been “bitten by a cactus.” Qassim refused to disclose the identity of the second man with him that night and declined to discuss an alleged theft of a Rolex, which might have contributed to Jay’s disappearance.
The investigation into Jay Slater’s disappearance continues, with authorities now seeking to identify and locate the mystery woman seen with Jay that night.
